Welcome to the WCCC Mens Golf
Association Website for 2012!
As we get ready for
the New Year I would like to remind everyone of our Mission Statement: To
promote fellowship through activities and events which create participation,
interaction and friendly competition among MGA golfing members of Walnut Creek
Country Club.
The schedule and
tournament guide for 2012 is about to be posted. Our goal is to provide the best
tournaments that can be enjoyable and competitive across all handicaps and
playing ability. If there is anything we can do to improve please let us know,
we value your opinions and ideas.

Fee: $40.00 per player for one or both tournaments
Payout:

and Gross within each flight prorated based on entries for each tournament.
Team:
Pick your foursomes morning and shop pair afternoon.
Format:
Morning individual play record net and gross scores.
Format:
Afternoon 4-man waltz starting on hole 1 1 ball on hole 1, 2 balls on hole 2,
three balls on hole 3 and starts over on hole 4 (1,2,3 ) through the 18 holes. After each player completes play of the hole record individual
gross scores and total net and total gross scores for each hole.
Flights:
Flighted by team handicap 10 to 12 teams per flight
depending number of teams signed up.
Tees:
All play will be from the blue tees.
Rules:
MGA / USGA rules apply.
Handicaps:
100% of handicap for morning individual play and 70% for afternoon Waltz.
Activities:
Lunch and beverages served after the first round in the Pavilion. Beer, and beverages served in Pavilion after second round. Scoring in Pavilion after both rounds.
Reminder:
Each Tournament is worth 20 points toward TOP 50.

the end of each month (first posting will be in March). MGA members
can accumulate Top 50 Points by attending MGA Events and MGA

The Last Event of the year is a complimentary event,
including a free gift, for all top 50 Members. The member that
accumulates the most points is awarded "TOP GUN" status at this
event. This is a great benefit and makes Top 50 Points worth
striving for!
